The AllStar Wings & Ribs® Journey

In the vibrant spring of 2003, the spark that ignited the AllStar Wings & Ribs® concept was lit.

The fun all started at a lively get-together thrown by our main man, Tom Anastopoulos, who happens to be our President and CEO. As the host, Tom dazzled his guests with ribs that left them utterly enchanted – the best they’d ever tasted! It was at that moment that Tom realized the world was missing a place where you could savour top-tier wings and ribs in a super-fun setting, all while using high-quality ingredients and delivering stellar service! 

With its iconic multi-flagged logo, eye-popping interior colors, an army of screens, and walls adorned with memorabilia, AllStar Wings & Ribs® rapidly earned a reputation as an extraordinary sports-themed family restaurant, dishing out EPIC wings and ribs, generous portions, unbeatable value, and an unforgettable dining experience.

It became clear that our triumph was the result of meticulous planning and precise execution of our concept. Tom understood that customers crave value, which, to us, means offering a top-notch product, a fair price, exceptional service, and a convenient location.

Our maiden AllStar Wings & Ribs® restaurant took off in Markham, Ontario in June 2003, nestled within a cozy 2,500 square foot space. From day one, this 40-seater restaurant was a roaring success, raking in nearly $1 million in its inaugural year.

Encouraged by the achievement of our first location, we spread our wings further to Elgin Mills in Richmond Hill, Ontario, welcoming guests in 2006. It was another smash hit, with first-year sales figures that put even 200-seat restaurants to shame.

In 2009, we reached a pivotal moment as The AllStar Group of Companies unveiled its Canadian Flagship Location, Training Centre, and Corporate Office on Rutherford Road in Vaughan, Ontario.

With a proven formula for culinary success and a stellar business model, our expansion plans, including franchising and other exciting avenues, continue to attract talent and resources to the irresistible AllStar Wings & Ribs® brand.
